TOMCO2 Equipment Company was founded in 1970 to manufacture urethane insulated storage units. Since then, TOMCO2 has become a world leader in CO2 products and services.   We are organized in five closely cooperating departments. These are CO2 Equipment, Water Treatment, Fire Protection, Pathogen Management, and Parts & Service. Our company has grown steadily by adding new products and services that meet changing consumer and industrial demands.  

TOMCO2 services the major industrial gas companies worldwide, nationwide welding distributors, regional industrial gas companies, end users in the beverage, meat/poultry, textiles, fire protection and limestone industries. 

TOMCO2 Equipment Company is located in Loganville, Georgia. We do all product testing, quality control, new product introductions and product manufacturing at this facility. This central organization of R&D and production allows for outstanding control over the introduction and improvement of CO2 equipment and service. We take basic raw materials and component parts for producing the highest quality CO2 equipment available worldwide. However, our commitment does not stop here. We also provide our customers with after sale service that assures that they derive the maximum productivity from our CO2 equipment. At TOMCO2, we are dedicated to advanced design, purchasing, production and customer responsiveness.

Our developments in CO2 technology have always been in the forefront. Some of the major products we have introduced include our Vacuum Insulated Storage Units, ISO Containers, a D.O.T. Transport Trailer, and a Water Treatment Trailer. TOMCO2 will continue to introduce new products and technology that serve the evolving needs of our customers. 1970
  • Carbonic Industries Corporation purchased TOMCO2 Equipment Company.
  • TOMCO2 manufactured mastic, urethane insulated CO2 storage units.
  • TOMCO2 became active in the Compressed Gas Association.

1978

  • Water Treatment Division acquired from Ozark-Mahoning.
  • TOMCO2 manufactured first ASME pressure vessel.

1979

  • TOMCO2's first dry ice pelletizer was designed and manufactured with U.S. Department of Agriculture approval.

1980

  • TOMCO2 manufactured first aluminum on urethane insulated CO2 storage units.

1984

  • TOMCO2 standardized aluminum jackets on all CO2 storage units.

1986

  • TOMCO2 introduced Department of Transportation Delivery Units.

1993

  • TOMCO2 introduced CO2 Dry Ice Cleaning.
  • TOMCO2 spun-off as an independent company from Carbonic Industries.

1994

  • TOMCO2 started Parts and Service Department.

1996

  • TOMCO2 standardized stainless steel fittings on all CO2 storage units.
  • TOMCO2 introduced mechanical CO2 pump - CM-40.
  • TOMCO2 patented pH control panel for Pressurized Solution Feed Water Treatment Systems.
  • National Board Pressure Vessel No. 5,000 manufactured

1997

  • Formed FIBA-TOMCO2 joint venture to manufacture vacuum insulated CO2 storage units.

1998

  • FIBA-TOMCO2 introduced CO2 17-ton ISO container.

1999

  • TOMCO2 received license to sell pressure vessels into The People's Republic of China.
  • TOMCO2 has manufactured 9,500 ASME pressure vessels.
  • FIBA- TOMCO2 developed proprietary insulation for vacuum insulated CO2 storage units . . . Fibertek.
2000
  • TOMCO2 received 3rd party approval CE Mark for dry ice making equipment into Europe.

2004

  • March, 2004 TOMCO2 received USDA letter of no objection to install our PM System into poultry plants for on-line processing and pathogen management.  

2006

  • June, 2006 TOMCO2 received FM Approval Certification for our newest division, Tomco2 Fire Systems, to supply low pressure fire suppression systems. 

2007

  • October, 2007 TOMCO2 manufactured National Board Pressure Vessel No. 10,000.

2008

  • TOMCO2 became a preferred supplier of General Electric.
  • We increased our production capacity through building expansion

TOMCO2's PM System consists of a liquid carbon dioxide storage system, a hypochlorous acid control building, and a chlorination control building.  

 

TOMCO2 added a new division for a  fire protection company in 2006. Tomco2 Fire Systems is an FM Approved company offering low pressure fire suppression systems.

TOMCO2 Quality
TOMCO2 is driven to manufacture quality, competitively priced CO2 equipment... Pelletizers, CO2 storage units, CO2 special applications equipment, transports, pH control systems, fire protection systems, and CO2 cleaning systems.

We have been manufacturing CO2 equipment since 1970 and we have never lowered our standard. We have had competitors try to imitate TOMCO2's equipment and sell at a cheaper price. We ask that our customers look at long term investment and payback of quality TOMCO2 equipment versus short term cheaper prices. In addition, our equipment has many standard features which are options on competitors' equipment.

All of TOMCO2's equipment is built to rigid specifications. TOMCO2 is an ASME approved vessel shop with an R stamp. We have produced over 10,000 ASME pressure vessels. We have been approved by The People's Republic of China, to manufacture and sell pressure vessels into China, and we also have been third party certified to sell CE Marked dry ice making equipment into Europe.

We maintain a sizable inventory of parts and some equipment to make sure that we have good turnaround time for our many customers.

We are staffed with quality assurance engineers and factory trained technicians.
